Eveything was so organized and labeled! They truly are superhosts. Even our pups thoroughly enjoyed the space. The place was a little further out from town than we originally thought, but honestly, the 20 min drive to town is ao peaceful and became one of our favorite parts of the day. "Perfect Spring Break My wife and I along with our 7-year-old son and golden retriever had a perfect Spring Break at Alpine Lakes Lodge last week. The home was just as advertised with spacious living area, mountain views, ample yard to play in, and a stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals most nights we were there (the only thing we needed to purchase were cold/perishable items!). My wife especially loved the "if you need something, take something. If you have something, leave something" sharing of kitchen items. We were pleasantly surprised at how at-home we felt with everything we could have needed from extra blankets to bathroom essentials. The home was very clean upon arrival and instructions for use of all home electronics were clear and easy to use. We were very fortunate to get the perfect amount of snow during our stay, and the use of outside towels, a little sled for our son to play with, and washer and dryer for all of our laundry made the stay that much better! Upstairs bedrooms were perfect for our son and would also suite extra families well with the toddler beds available and the private bathrooms. Games and movies were perfect for snowy days, and we never found ourselves at a loss of things to do. The drive to Pagosa Springs was short and beautiful along the way, with a 45 minute trek to Wolf Creek that was also very doable for our one day on the slopes. "The Cabin and property are beautiful, furnished with modern amenities inside and out. We wanted a private, semi secluded Cabin that was pet friendly for our 20th anniversary and this property was perfect. You can sit on the front porch or back porch drinking coffee in the morning or cocktails at night and not see any one. The back porch view of the Mountains is amazing. The Cabin is furnished with modern amenities and decorated in a classy modern rustic design. The furniture style is high end and complements the decor of the Cabin. "Amazing Stay We were able to get myself with my wife, my brother and his wife along with my sister with her husband together for a great get-together in this very beautiful and comfortable home. We loved the location along with the great views. The home had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. We enjoyed our evenings outdoors around the fire pit and hanging out on the deck catching up on our lives. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. We had everything we needed to cook steaks and burgers on the grill for a couple of great dinners. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home and hope to return someday. "Perfect Getaway for Family or Friends! Our group consisted of 3 couples, all great friends. The views from this house are stunning. We absolutely loved having our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the mountains. So incredibly peaceful. The house had everything we needed, plenty of utensils, condiments, (pantry is very well stocked), games (played 2 rousing games of Trivial Pursuit), blankets, ect. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is also a powder room right off the living room, perfect for comfort and privacy. The house is about a 20-30 minute drive from Pagosa Springs but the views, privacy and peacefulness made the drive absolutely worth it! "Colorado Ranch Vacation Stayed at the ranch almost two weeks with my daughter and her family in late June 2024 to July 3 2024. The owners are so nice and easy to communicate with. The ranch is awesome. Our first time to Colorado and we loved it. It is so peaceful and relaxing at the property. This is the best stocked property I have stayed at ever. There were even plenty of games for the kids inside and out. I could not begin to describe the beautiful views sitting on the porch. Location was great for us a little out of town but close enough to go explore. Pagosa Springs is a beautiful area. This home is beautiful highly recommended and hope to come back.
